Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani and Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia held a session of official talks at the Amiri Diwan on Tuesday.
During the session of talks, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and the ways of strengthening them in various fields, especially in security field, in addition to reviewing regional and international developments of mutual concern.
The prime minister and Georgia’s vice-prime minister witnessed signing of a letter of intent for cooperation between the ministries of interior in both countries.
The meeting was attended by senior officials and officers of the Ministry of Interior and members of the official delegation from the Georgian side.
The prime minister later hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of Georgia’s vice-prime minister and his accompanying delegation.
The banquet was attended by a number of senior officials and Ministry of Interior’s officers.
