Qatar-Italy bilateral relations are poised for massive growth, Italy’s Ambassador to Qatar HE Pasquale Salzano has said.
“This year has been marked by outstanding outcomes of bilateral cooperation in all sectors of mutual interest, especially in the field of culture” he said. On Qatar’s preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, he said, “I am impressed by the excellent work done so far and long in advance to get ready for this event and I can see that preparations continue at a very high pace. I am confident that the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar will be successful not only for its perfect organisation, but also for the powerful cultural message of inclusiveness and openness and for the promotion of the values connected to sport.” page 6
