Cabinet approves draft law on concession granted to Woqod

DOHA The Cabinet on Wednesday approved a draft law on the concession granted to Qatar Fuel Company (Waqod) for selling, marketing, transporting and distributing gas and petroleum products. It decided to refer the draft law to the Shura Council. Under the provisions of the draft law, the company’s concession will be extended for a period of five years starting from 18-6-2018. The Cabinet also approved a host of Amiri decisions. The Cabinet also approved a draft decision of the Minister of Municipality and Environment on the establishment, organisation and leasing of lands in the Al-Afja area for recycling industries. The Cabinet meeting was chaired by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani. (QNA) page 2
