Qataris prevented from performing Umrah for second year in a row

Citizens and residents of Qatar have been prevented from performing Umrah for the second year in a row by the authorities in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia has been taking arbitrary measures against Qatar’s citizens and residents and politicising religious rituals such as Umrah and Hajj. Abdel Nasser Fakhro, Executive Director of Altawba office for Hajj and Umrah, said the action of the Saudi authorities to deprive the people of Qatar the right to perform Hajj and Umrah for the second year in a row is regrettable. page 2
