Bogota: Six bodies have been found in an abandoned house in a rural area of central Colombia following a massacre thought to have been committed by drug traffickers. A local person discovered the bodies early Tuesday in Mapiripan in Meta department, Colombian media reported.
They were lying face-down, as if they had been executed, according to the daily El Tiempo. The identities of the victims, who were not from the region, were not immediately known. The incident may have been a settling of scores between drug traffickers, El Tiempo quoted army sources as saying. (dpa)
