Warri: Gunmen kidnapped passengers from a bus near Nigeria’s south oil hub of Port Harcourt in the latest of a series of kidnappings in the restive region. Witness Precious Awuse said the incident happened on Tuesday morning on a road in the Emohua area of Rivers state. “We were driving a few kilometres behind the 18-seater bus when the hoodlums struck and we had to abandon our own bus and flee for safety before the arrival of the police to the scene of the incident,” Awuse said.
