Police College eyes Guinness world record by creating football model

DOHA The Police College will participate in the events of Dar Al Saai in celebration of the Qatar National Day 2018, highlighting a number of new activities, in cooperation with the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy. Major Fahad Saeed al Subaie, Director of Training Department, said that one of the highlights of the event is the college’s attempt to set a new Guinness Book of World Records by creating a football model that symbolises the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, with the participation of a large number of citizens, residents and school students. He said about 33,500 coloured wooden pieces would be installed to complete the art painting in shape of a football.
