Qatar’s star athlete Abderrahman Samba, who was one of the five nominees for IAAF Male World Athlete of the Year 2018 award, is in sprightly form and reflected on a startling international debut season at 400m hurdles.
When asked ahead of the IAAF event, ‘Everybody in Qatar is looking for Samba to do something special at Doha 2019 Worlds’, he said he would surely do something special.
“I am so happy with what I did last season,” said Samba.
“It is really something special for me to do all those races under 48 seconds and the second fastest time in history. Next season, I want to continue what I did in 2018. I will try to do something special in 2019 because we have next year the World Championships in Doha. I will try to do something there (in Qatar) to
