Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs HE Dr Khalid bin Mohammed al Attiyah, who is currently visiting the US, met US Secretary of Defense James Mattis at the Pentagon on Tuesday. The meeting discussed a number of issues of mutual concern, as well as bilateral relations and the means of enhancing them. The meeting also tackled the latest developments in the region, particularly the Gulf crisis and the crisis in Yemen and Afghanistan. (QNA)
