Secretary-General of Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF) Jassim Al Rumaihi announced the holding of an extraordinary General Assembly of AGCFF in the Sultanate of Oman on the 28th of November. He pointed out that the recent contacts with Oman Football Association (OFA) resulted in the agreement on the Sultanate hosting the extraordinary General Assembly.
Al Rumaihi told Qatar News Agency (QNA) that AGCFF General Secretariat, in cooperation with OFA, invited the members of the Board of Directors of AGCFF to participate in the Assembly.
He explained that the announcement of Qatar's hosting of the next edition of Gulf Cup 24 tops the first item in the extraordinary General Assembly. He noted that the meeting will discuss the announcement of the hosting country of the next edition on the championship as well as setting the dates of its launch and the timetable of the organization which will begin with forming a committee to inspect stadiums and other committees that oversee the administrative and technical aspects of the competition.
AGCFF members are due to head to Oman on November 26th to hold a meeting under the chairmanship Secretary-General AGCFF Jassim Al Rumaihi, Assistant Secretary-General of AGCFF Ahmed Al Nuaimi, and AGCFF's chairman of the finance committee and financial advisor Ahmed Al Buainain to prepare for the extraordinary General Assembly.
