Bashar Hussein won the second Qatar 9-Ball Championships, organised by Qatar Billiard and Snooker Federation. The championship was held to determine the players who will represent the national team at international and continental championships this season. Hussein's beat Walid Majid (11-8).
On the other hand, Qatar Snooker team is currently preparing for a training camp at the Federation's headquarters ahead of the World Championship in Myanmar on November 17. The players in camp are, Ali al Obaidli, Ahmed Saif in the men's competition, with Mohsen Bukshisha and Abdul Mohsen Khemis in the teachers' competition.
