The Ministry of Education and Higher Education is working on an online complaint redressal system exclusively for the parents of private school pupils in Qatar.
The system will enable parents to register their grievances against the schools online and the ministry will follow them up with the respective managements in a time-bound manner.
The system will soon be embedded into the private school portal, which is a unified online window managed by the ministry featuring a broad range of information about private schools in the country.
At a workshop conducted by the ministry's Department of Private Schools Affairs, ministry officials apprised representatives of the school managements about the system.
Department of Private Schools Affairs Director Rawda al Zeidan said the ministry would act as a link between schools and parents to facilitate positive and effective communication. It will also make sure that a solution to each complaint is achieved, she added.
Zeidan said the system would notify parents when the complaints are sent to the schools and when an action is taken on it.
