THE Social Development Center (NAMA) will launch its Mulhemeen programme, which is aimed at empowering small entrepreneurs and encouraging competition among them, on October 31.
The Arabic word 'Mulhemeen' symbolises inspiration, motivation and encouragement.
The programme seeks to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Qatar and promote a culture of innovation in line with the National Development Strategy 2018-2022.
The programme will be launched at a formal ceremony to be held at InterContinental Hotel West Bay from 6pm to 9.30pm. The organisers have invited interested youths and entrepreneurs to attend the event.
Mulhemeen offers a platform for promising entrepreneurs and successful investors to share their visions and present personal experiences in different areas with a positive outlook.
It also offers an opportunity for entrepreneurs to showcase their projects to a selected group of investors and secure investment deals for their small and micro enterprises.
Through this event, entrepreneurs will also be able to build relationships, create jobs and search for potential partners through networking and business dinner.
The event will feature presentations by prominent local, regional and global entrepreneurs and an interactive session between them and aspiring entrepreneurs.
