Qatar Airways (QA) has overcome the impact of the unjust blockade imposed on Qatar and has been growing steadily, bagging several international accolades, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar al Baker has said.
Speaking at a media roundtable luncheon hosted by the airline at the Peninsula Hotel in New York on Thursday, Baker also revealed his interest in investing in American market.
"If there are opportunities, where we see there are synergies, we will continue to invest in the American market," he said.
After the Qsuit, which is considered the best business class seat in world, QA is developing a new seat for the Economy Class, aiming to provide maximum comfort for this category of passengers.
The seat will be introduced in March 2019, according to Baker."We will never go lower than 32 inches of legroom," he said.
Baker said he is also"thinking of making Wi-Fi free", which would be a major selling point for business passengers together with the Qsuite seats.
