Two pilots, girl dead in Myanmar army plane crashes

Yangon: Two military planes crashed in separate incidents in central Myanmar on Tuesday, killing both pilots and a 10-year-old girl, officials said. Two China-made F-7 planes used for training crashed in separate places in Minbu Township, 170 kilometres from the capital, Naypyitaw, due to bad weather, a military statement on the Commander-in-Chief's website said. The pilots were killed on impact while a 10-year-old girl sustained injuries after being hit by debris and was rushed to hospital, where she died. (dpa)
