THE Strategic Studies Center of the Qatari Armed Forces (QAF) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Near East South Asia (NESA) Center for Strategic Studies of US Department of Defense, as part of efforts to strengthen strategic relations between the two friendly countries' defense ministries.
The MoU was signed by the Director of the Center for Strategic Studies Dr Hamad Mohammed al Marri and Deputy Director of NESA David Lamm.
Marri said that the partnership between the two centres will serve the Qatari Armed Forces in the field of military and strategic studies and research.
The memorandum was signed on the sidelines of a workshop held by the Center for Strategic Studies with the NESA Center in Washington, DC, from October 1 to 5, under 'Strategic Dialogue and the Future of Joint Cooperation'. (QNA)
