The Cabinet on Wednesday welcomed the outcome of the working visit of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani to Germany from September 5 to 7.
The Cabinet recorded that the successful visit of the Amir has deepened the strategic partnership between Qatar and Germany and contributed greatly to the development of the close friendship between the two countries.
The visit also opened up new horizons for expanding mutual cooperation in various fields, the Cabinet noted.
It also hailed the success of the Qatar-Germany Business and Investment Forum, which was held in Berlin within the framework of the Amir's visit, and the Amir's announcement of Qatar's intention to invest €10 billion in the German economy over the next five years.
The Cabinet expressed satisfaction with the positive atmosphere during the Amir's visit.
The Cabinet meeting was chaired by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani.
