The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will implement a partial one-lane closure on each of Al Corniche Street and Abdulla Bin Jassim Street, in the direction leading to Hamad Al-Kabeer Street.
The closure stretches 300 metres on Al Corniche Street starting after Jassim Bin Mohammed Street/Al Corniche Street intersection, and stretches 450m on Abdulla Bin Jassim Street starting after Jassim bin Mohammed Street/Abdulla Bin Jassim Street intersection.
The closure, To be implemented in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, will start on Monday, August 20 and will last for two months. During the period, entrances and exists to the northern side of Souq Waqif's parking will be closed during the night works only.
The remaining lanes on Al Corniche and Abdulla Bin Jassim streets are open to traffic during the closure period. (TNN)
