Ankara The United States rejects any linking of the case of an American pastor held for almost two years in Turkey with the fate of US-based preacher Fethullah Gulen who Ankara blames for the failed 2016 coup bid, a senior US official said Friday. A Turkish court on Wednesday ruled to keep in jail on terror-linked charges US pastor Andrew Brunson, who ran a protestant church in the city of Izmir and has been held since October 2016. (AFP)
