QATAR Charity (QC) is all set to launch its summer programme 'Pearls and Corals 9' for girls, aiming at developing their skills and helping them invest their summer vacation in a useful way.
The ninth edition of the programme will include 60 students aged from 7 to 18 years, in addition to female future leaders sponsored by the charity.
The programme will be launched at Al Aqsa Preparatory Girls School on July 15 in the presence of a number of social media experts.
The programme, which will continue until August 2, aims to make the summer vacation beneficial for girls, helping them build a balanced and educated personality in order to become a citizen capable of nation building.
'Pearls and Corals 9' will include religious and educational lectures, health and art workshops (basics of photography, plastic art, cooking and sewing), handicrafts, sports activities and various courses for developing the abilities and skills of girls.
The programme will also include recreational trips and will end with a closing ceremony, where gifts will be distributed and participants, supervisors and workshop instructors will be honoured.
QC will cooperate with many personalities and entities, especially Al Wehda Medical Center, Nomas Center and Al Dana, to train and entertain the participants and raise their awareness of social, religious and educational topics.
