The Embassy of Qatar in Jordan has warned of news websites and accounts that promote incorrect and unauthorised links to apply for jobs in Doha.
This came in light of Doha's announcement last week to provide 10,000 jobs for Jordanians.
In a statement on Monday, the embassy said a joint committee of Qatar and Jordan will be set up to consider a mechanism for receiving job applications. An official announcement in this regard will be made by the embassy.
Last week, Qatar pledged to create 10,000 jobs for Jordanians to help them achieve their aspirations and contribute to their country's economy.
Qatar also announced a $500 million investment package targeting Jordan's infrastructure and tourism projects.
"Qatar is focusing its support on projects of a sustainable nature to create a foundation on which the Jordanian economy has been based for years, and focuses on supporting young people who are the hope of the future and the driving force of production, as demonstrated by the experiences of a number of emerging economies," the statement said.
Qatar, the statement said, intends to create employment opportunities for Jordanian youth and implement projects in Jordan through the establishment of an investment fund for infrastructure and tourism projects and create a movement for investment and investment opportunities both directly and indirectly.
