THE Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) witnessed a large turnout of visitors during the Eid holidays to take part in the celebrations there, which ended with scintillating fireworks at Katara Beach every night.
The many fun games for children and adults organised by Katara also were a big crowd puller during the first three days of Eid.
Moreover, Katara hosted an Iraqi cultural musical evening organised by the Iraqi Embassy in Doha in coordination with the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
The Iraqi event was one of the highlights of the activities organised by Katara as part of Eid celebrations and was attended by diplomats and people from different communities.
Meanwhile, the Pearl-Qatar also hosted an array of activities to celebrate Eid Al Fitr. An indoor playground for children and a dedicated indoor facility for women with many activities were created inside the Pearl. Besides, the restaurants at the Medina Centrale also hosted some fun shows for visitors. Eateries served exotic dishes and acrobatic shows took place on the streets to entertain visitors.
