In an effort to promote filmmaking among Kerala expatriates all over the world, Kangaroo Vision, an Australian -based online channel is offering training and financial assistance to those who are passionate about filmmaking.
Promoter of the campaign in Doha Sreedevi Joy in Doha said,"Large numbers of artistes among Malayali expatriate community in Doha have proved their talent in film-making and are looking for an effective platform to perform properly. Kangaroo Vision provides a common platform for these artistes to perform and to interact among themselves and with experts as well, and without broadcasting fee".
Formal inauguration of the programme was held in Queensland in Australia recently.
Those who prove their talent during five years of training will be provide financial assistance to make films. Kangaroo Vision also organises international events and provides opportunity to showcase short films made by them before an international audience. Selected films will be given cash prize, memento and certificate of appreciation.
