DOHA Hamad Medical Corporation's paediatric emergency received over 2,000 patients on the first two days of Eid Al Fitr celebrations. The patients were received at the main Paediatric Emergency Center (PEC), Al Sadd and satellites including Al Rayyan, Airport, Shamal and Al Dayen. Senior Consultant and Assistant Director of Paediatric Emergency Dr Mohamed al Amri said most of the cases were viral infections. Among the patients most suffered from fever, asthma, gastroenteritis, neonatal fever and convulsions. CATHERINE W GICHUKI
