Thousands of people thronged Souq Waqif, Corniche, MIA Park and Katara on the third day of Eid Al Fitr holiday to partake in the festivities.
The eateries that extended its dining area to the beautiful corridors of Souq were packed with people since afternoon.

ets shop in Souq Waqif said,"Traditional Arabic sweets are the most-sought-after items these days. Branded chocolates are the other items people are buying to present as gifts to friends and relatives."
The pet market attracted a large numbers of children.
MIA Park saw a large crowd of expatriate families on Sunday. Many families opted for hill-side eateries as their meeting place.
Member of an Asian family said,"MIA Park is the most ideal location for open-air family gathering. Its water-front sitting area and the view of Doha skyline make it more attractive at night."
The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) witnessed a remarkable turnout on the third day of Eid holidays.
Visitors enjoyed the fireworks at the Katara beach area.
Meanwhile, the events organised by the Ministry of Interior have attracted thousands of Asians.
