A vendor at a sweets' shop at the Mall of Qatar said,"Each year, we start making Eid-themed sweets and gifts as there's a greater demand for these products. This year, along with the Eid theme, we are offering Qatar-themed patriotic decorations, including 'Tamim Al Majd' logos and Qatar's flags because we have noticed a great interest in these items during all occasions over the past year."A Qatari citizen visiting one of the shopping malls said,"The festive atmosphere can be sensed everywhere as people go out frequently in preparation for Eid celebration." She said the whole country ” its institutions, citizens, and residents ” have rode over the blockade which has failed to impact any aspects of daily life."We didn't feel anything is lacking in terms of Eid preparations or any other aspect of our usual routines. On the contrary, we are noticing a greater variety of new shops, brands, and local Qatari projects," she explained.
