THE Advisory (Shura) Council's Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee held a meeting on Wednesday chaired by its Rapporteur Nasser bin Rashid Seraei al Kaabi.
During the meeting, the committee continued its discussion on the proposal presented by Speaker of the Advisory Council HE Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al Mahmoud on the situation of retired citizens.
The meeting was attended by President of the General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority Turki bin Mohammed al Khater, who explained the Authority's point of view on the proposal and answered questions presented by members of the committee.
The committee decided to continue its study of the proposal at its next meeting.
