A high-level ministerial delegation from Nepal will visit Doha soon to discuss issues related to migrant Nepali workers in Qatar, the country's top diplomat in Doha has said.
Nepal's ambassador to Qatar HE Ramesh Prasad Koirala told Qatar Tribune that the ministerial delegation led by Nepal's Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security will meet with Qatar's Minister of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs HE Issa Saad al Jafali al Nuaimi to discuss amendments in the clauses of
Qatar-Nepal Technical Committee on Labour which was set up in 2006 to facilitate migration procedures of Nepalese workers and fix accountability of key stakeholders in both the countries.
Koirala, who met with Nuaimi earlier this week to discuss about the upcoming meeting, said the Qatari minister was very supportive to ensure that rights of migrant workers are protected in the country.
