Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), is participating in the 14th International Agricultural Exhibition at the Fares International Exhibition Center in Shiraz, Iran.
To run until April 27, the exhibition was inaugurated by Governor of Fares Ismael Tabbadar on Tuesday.
Qatar's pavilion is located on an area of 30 square metres and includes a presentation of prominent agricultural activities in Qatar.
The pavilion witnessed the visit of the governor of Persia and the director of the exhibition as well as a number of senior officials in Shiraz province, the province of Fares and visitors of the exhibition in general.
The delegation of the Ministry of Municipalities and Environment participating in the exhibition includes Mohamed Ibrahim al Sada, assistant director of Public Parks Department; Adel Zain al Yafai, assistant director of Agricultural Affairs Department; Mohammed Mishal al Hajri, legal Expert in the Department of Public Parks and Engineer Mustapha Haj Hassan.
The event is Iran's largest exhibition of agricultural machinery, gardening equipment, fertilizers, pesticides, seeds and water supplies.
It is worth noting that Iran participated actively in the 6th Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition 'Agritec 2018' organised by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment from March 20 to March 22, 2018.
