Minister of Municipality and Environment HE Mohammed bin Abdullah al Rumaihi has highlighted opportunities for companies to invest in Qatar waste management and treatment process.
Speaking in a panel discussion within the 50th edition of waste treatment exhibition (Waste Expo 2018), underway in Las Vegas, Nevada, the minister also reviewed Qatar's achievements in treating waste and water as well as the projects that have been implemented and the upcoming ones.
The minister acquainted himself with the latest waste treatment and disposal technology and techniques, and how to apply them in future projects in Qatar.
Qatar's participation in the event is significant as Doha is keen to develop the waste management sector and learn about the latest innovations in the field and how to implement them in the country.
More than 600 companies operating in the waste management field in the US and across the world are taking part in the event, which features a series of discussions and forums.
