Johannesburg Swaziland, a small monarchy entirely surrounded by South Africa, is changing its name to eSwatini, King Mswati III has announced. The absolute monarch made the announcement during his 50th birthday celebrations on Thursday. The ex-British colony is also marking 50 years of independence this year."Yesterday #Swaziland celebrated its 50th independence anniversary and was renamed eSwatini," Nigel Casey, the British High Commissioner to South Africa tweeted Friday.
