The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) will hold the Qatar-US Economic Forum in Charleston, South Carolina, on Monday.
The forum is part of Qatar's ongoing economic tour in the US, which includes several US cities.
It aims to promote and expand trade and economic relations between Qatar and the US, and to provide an opportunity for networking between businessmen as well as enhance private sector cooperation, in addition to establishing joint investment projects that benefit both countries.
The forum will be attended by more than 200 Qatari businessmen and officials as well as almost 200 US businessmen and chiefs of major companies.
On the sidelines of the forum, a number of discussion sessions between representatives of the business sector will be organised with a view to promoting the existing economic partnerships between the two countries.
