Qatar pledges $20mn to ease humanitarian crisis in Yemen

Geneva Qatar, represented by Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), has pledged $20 million to alleviate the humanitarian suffering of the Yemeni people. This came during a meeting organised by the United Nations in Geneva. QFFD Director General Khalifa bin Jassim al Kuwari said the Qatari commitment comes within the framework of supporting the inter-agency 2018 Yemen Humanitarian Response Plan. (QNA)
