LONDON The final details of a Brexit deal may not be clinched until the eve of Britain's exit in late March 2019 but a deal will be done, British junior foreign minister Mark Field said on Thursday.
"I think we are going to get to the last week of March 2019 and we are still not going to know what all the last details of this deal will be," Field said at a speech in the City of London.
"There will talk on March 26 and 27 of collapse and heading out on WTO terms and then we will find that we get a deal," said Field, who is a Conservative Party lawmaker for the Cities of London and Westminster.
"It will perhaps not be all that we want or all that our EU partners want. But a deal will be done. I am fairly convinced of that," he said. (REUTERS)
