THE Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition 2018 (DJWE 2018) first Watches and Jewellery Forum, sponsored by Fifty One East, has concluded.
The Forum focused on the roles played by designers, and shed light on the jewellery and gemstone industry from local and international perspectives. More than 100 interested participants attended the forum, in addition to VIPs and international experts hosting the sessions, who shared their expertise with the captivated audience. The forum was moderated by emcee Habib al Tameemi. The Forum, held at the Shangrila Hotel from 10am to 12pm as part of this year’s new DJWE 2018 activities, featured sessions created by acclaimed industry brands and personalities, including Hueb, Nsouli Jewellery, H. The event allowed attendees to share their passion and encourage knowledgesharing from emerging and established international and local designers and enthusiasts alike, as well as offered behind the scenes access to the luxurious world of jewellery and watches.
Designers and experts discussed the latest trends and preferences of consumers, each acting as inspiration for jewellery designers in the region and the industry’s future road map.
