THE Emir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani on Thursday ratified a number of treaties signed between the State of Qatar and Turkey, Indonesia, Uganda, Singapore, Malaysia and Chile.
HH the Emir issued an instrument of ratification approving an agreement between the governments of Qatar and Republic of Turkey on mutual legal support on criminal affairs, which was signed in Doha on November 15, 2017.HH the Emir ratified another agreement on legal and judicial training between the two countries.
HH also ratified a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Qatar Media Corporation and Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) and another between Qatar Central Bank and the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, which were also signed on November 15, 2017.
Additionally, HH the Emir ratified an MoU on cooperation in tourism sector between Qatar and Turkey.
Furthermore, HH the Emir issued instruments of ratifications approving an MoU between Qatar and the Republic of Indonesia to cooperate in the fields of youth and sports and another between the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Qatar Indonesia's Ministry of Education and Culture, which were signed in Jakarta on October 18, 2017.
HH the Emir also ratified a draft agreement on economic, trade and technical cooperation between the governments of Qatar and the Republic of Uganda, which was signed in Doha on April 19, 2017.
Besides, HH the Emir ratified a draft agreement between the governments of Qatar and the Republic of Singapore on encouraging and protecting mutual investments, which was signed in Singapore on October 17, 2017.
In addition, HH the Emir issued an instrument of ratification on an MoU on cooperation in the field of higher education between the governments of the Qatar and Malaysia, which was signed in Putrajaya on October 16, 2017.
HH the Emir also issued an instrument of ratification approving a draft agreement on air transport between the governments of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Chile, which was signed in Colombo on December 5, 2017.
