Doha Toastmasters Club held its Annual Speech Contest which comprised four categories International, Humorous, Table Topic and Evaluation. The contest, held on two separate occasions, drew a full house of listeners and toastmasters.
The club commenced the International Speech and Table Topic speech contests under Chief Judge Manzoor Moideen. Satish Tonse was the chief judge in the Evaluation Speech Contest while Girish Jain led the judges in the Humorous Speech. The three judges were supported by the Education Vice-President and Contest Manager Niloufer Samal.
Girish Jain, Jayakumar Menon, Vaishali Mehra and Abdul Nassar were the chairpersons, supported by Nagaraja Sekar, Khaliq Burhan, Mehdi, Mohammed Zubair, Sithmini, Fauzia, Kamala, Pravin, Tafsirudheen, Sandip, Shafrudin, Zian, Ripan and Savitha.
Toastmasters Anil Nair, Deepak Shivankar, Nisamudheen SA, Chandrashekhar Dudhe, Sudhanva Vijay and Shamsu Ameer Kunju were the winners of the contests.
