ASIAN Town celebrated Weekend Festival at Plaza Mall with live music show and many interactive games.
The festival was organised by Ibn Ajayan Projects (IAP), managers of Asian Town. This is the eighth Weekend Festival held by IAP and this week's 'Live Music Show' attracted a large crowd, especially Asian expatriates.
The show was performed by Quebe, a popular Indian music band in Qatar. The band's main singers Googly Muthu, Jithu and Fazil performed at the event while Akbar Sha anchored the show.
Live music was enjoyed by thousands of people gathered at the event. Some talented singers among the workers' community also performed on stage. The show was held from 5.30pm to 8pm.
Weekend Festival is an initiative of IAP. It started in January 2017 to entertain Asian Town visitors, particularly those who visit Plaza Mall at weekends. Entry to the event venue was free.
The Weekend Festival at Asian Town will continue throughout the year.
