QATAR, are you ready for a dream run in colour? Residents of Qatar will gather in their thousands on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at the Qatar National Convention Centre for the Happiest 5K on the planet. Will you be one of them?
With only a few tickets left, and a few days to go until this awesome extravaganza kicks off, colour runners are clamouring to buy tickets for this coveted event. Tickets were selling at QR160 before prices increased on Friday, but there are still some tickets available from www.thecolorrun.qa, for Color Run participants to snap up.
In addition to having access to an awesome day of fun, each colour runner will receive a fun participant kit, which includes a limited edition Dream World Tour race shirt, embroidered headband, a fun temporary tattoo, rainbow pencil and some awesome goodies from sponsors. Deluxe runners will receive the kit plus a gold bib, a wristband, tutu, party socks and sunglasses for the ultimate colour runner look on the day. Runners can look forward to ending their race with the finish festival where the crowd will be part of the colour throws.
With over 7,000 participants showing up at the event in 2017, the 2018 edition of The Color Run presented by 'Sahtak Awalan: Your Health First' is a race that celebrates health, happiness and individuality by both empowering and encouraging participants of all ages and abilities to focus on their health and well-being. So bring the whole family to enjoy this fun-filled day.
Participants can choose to run, walk, jog or skip around the five-kilometre course with their family and friends.
The highly anticipated Foam Zone will make colour runners feel on top of the world, as they enjoy a brand new colour, and as always, get covered from head to toe in an array of colours.
The fourth edition of The Color Run by Sahtak Awalan: Your Health First, the flagship public health campaign of Weill Cornell Medicine Qatar (WCM-Q) will see this popular 5K course transport participants to a world where anything is possible, inspiring them to make dreams a reality with a one-of-a-kind theme: The Dream World Tour. Colours, music, running, jogging, skipping and dancing will ensure that all participants will have an absolute blast.
Since its inception in 2012, The Color Run has become a global phenomenon, continuing to innovate the 5k paint race genre each year. The Color Run has been experienced by over six million people worldwide in 35+ countries and has donated $5 million to charity to date.
