UNDER the patronage of the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), Al Khansaa Primary School for Girls has organised the Internal Exhibition for Scientific Research under the theme, 'Design for Change'.
A number of officials from Quality and Safety Department of Ashghal, including Eng Khalid Mohammed al Emadi, manager of the Quality and Safety Department, inaugurated the exhibition.
The Quality and Safety Department has provided technical support for some of the researches proposed by the school, enabling the students to conduct some of the experiments in Ashghal's Centre for Research and Development.
The department also provided the exhibition with mobile laboratories, including environment and materials research laboratories.
Eng Khalid expressed his happiness, noting that Ashghal's participation in the Al Khansaa School Exhibition is the second after participating last year in two researches with the school.
For her part, Al Khansaa Primary School Principal Hoda al Obeidly voiced her appreciation for Ashghal's efforts that made the research exhibition successful.
"There are 21 participants in the research show. One out of seven researches will be recommended by the jury to be the winner of the tenth version of the National Competition for Students Research 'Entrepreneurship and Creativity', sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. This kind of exhibitions aims to enrich the scientific research in Qatar and raise the scientific and intellectual levels of the students," Obeidly said. (TNN)
