India's most versatile playback singer Sonu Nigam mesmerised a huge crowd of music lovers with his melodious songs at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre on Friday.
Organised as part of the Bollywood Week during the Shop Qatar Festival, Qatar Tourism Authority's month-long initiative, the concert enthralled thousands of audience as they were treated to many hits of Sonu Nigam.
The singer regaled the music aficionados with many of his old hits along with some new songs.
The audience included Indian Ambassador to Qatar HE P Kumaran, along with many Qatari dignitaries and thousands of Indian expatriates.
The audience patiently waited for Nigam's performance after many local talent, including budding singers and musical bands, entertained them through their performances.
The show also saw Nigam sharing the stage with another popular artiste Manya Narang who was one of the eight contestants of the latest season of the popular Indian Idol reality show.
The evening of entertainment included random interactive interviews conducted by radio jockeys of popular FM channels broadcast in Doha.
Nigam started singing at a tender age of four, has served music industry over decades.
