Hala al Emadi has been playing the piano for 10 years. She said:"My passion for piano started when my parents gifted me a piano, as I was closely attached to music and played musical numbers eagerly. After that I was trained by teachers at home and then began to practise and play with the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra."
Omar al Yafei, a music teacher who also plays the guitar, said:"I play many musical instruments but the guitar has a special place in my heart. I create my own musical pieces that tend to combine the rhythms of samba, salsa and other Latin flavour."
The event also witnessed a number of children who performed a joint drum performance which grabbed the audience's admiration.
The 'Melodies at Katara's Premises' invites all musical talents until April end. Visitors at Katara will be able to witness every weekend such enthusiastic musical talents around the Amphitheatre.
