Vodafone Qatar has changed its financial year end from March 31 to December 31 from this year, the company announced on Tuesday.
Vodafone said in a press statement that its financial year will now run from January 1 to December 31 to ensure closer alignment of the company's results announcements and other reporting requirements with other listed companies in Qatar.
The board of directors of Vodafone Qatar will meet on January 18, and issue a trading update for the nine-month period ending December 31, 2017, the statement said.
The company's audited financial results for the nine-month period starting April 1, 2017 and ending December 31, 2017 will be announced within the three-month period following the year-end along with a proforma unaudited income statement for the 12-month period starting January 1, 2017 and ending December 31, 2017.
