Al Rayyan beat Al Kharaitiyat 2-0 in Saturday's second semi-final to reach the QSL Cup title clash.
They will take on Al Gharafa, who beat Umm Salal 1-0 in the day's other last-four clash that kicked off early, on Tuesday. Sebastian Soria (16th) and Daniel Goumou (72nd) scored for Al Rayyan at the Al Shamal Stadium.
After a few attacks that did not entirely finish the way Al Rayyan wanted, Michael Laudrup's boys opened the scoring through striker Soria, who easily deflected the ball into the net from close after Mohammed Juma al Alawi, who raced all the way to the right flank, slipped in a near-perfect curling cross.
In the 32nd minute, Mohsine Moutaouali beat the Al Kharaitiyat backline close to their box and produced a powerful shot that beat goalkeeper Ahmed Sofiyan, but the ball sailed narrowly past the goalpost.
Six minutes into the second half, Moutaouali charged into the Al Kharaitiyat box, but his close-range shot hit the side netting, leaving Laudrup fuming on the missed opportunity.
Substitute Goumou doubled Al Rayyan's lead with a tap from close following a goalmouth melee. The Al Kharaitiyat defence once again looked edgy as a quick-footed Goumou slipped the ball into the net off a cross from inside the box.
Ten minutes from close, Al Kharaitiyat's Ali Abdalla produced a long-range drive, but his slow-paced shot was easily blocked by Al Rayyan goalkeeper Saoud Al Khater. Ali's feeble drive summed up the lack of push from Al Kharaitiyat as Al Rayyan cruised home.
Al Gharafa managed to seal the game late in the 80th minute, thanks to the goal by Monqeth Mohamed.
The game witnessed a cautious start from both sides due to their keen desire to reach the final. Al Gharafa controlled the game, while Umm Salal relied on fast counter-attacks.
Scoring opportunities were very rare in the first half. The most dangerous attempt was by Al Gharafa's Ahmed Alaaeldin in the 27th minute which was saved by Umm Salal goalkeeper Eissa Shaaban.
With neither side creating too many chances, there was no real danger on either goal and the first half ended without a breakthrough.
The rhythm in the second session was very much the same, with the teams seemingly desperate not to give away a crucial goal at any stage. Umm Salal's resolve was broken in the 80th when Al Gharafa grabbed the all-important goal.
Umm Salal went on the attack in the hope of a late equaliser but, in spite of the pressure, Al Gharafa's defence was too stubborn.
They kept their tactics tight until the end of the game to sail through to Tuesday's final at the Qatar SC Stadium.
