Visitors at the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) on Saturday relished a number of spectacular shows, including colourful Aerobatics Air Show organised by Qatar Armed Forces. On Sunday and Monday, Katara's audiences will be on a date with Drones Show, which will be the first of its kind at Katara. The Joint Special Forces will also present spectacular and exciting performances between 3:30pm and 5pm at Katara's waterfront, where 60 paratroopers will adorn Katara's with many colourful formations. On Sunday (today), Katara will welcome Fath Al-Kheir 3 Dhow as it returns from voyages to the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Kuwait at 4pm. The Fath Al Khair Dhow and its team that comprises 16 Qataris led by Captain Mohammed al Sada will arrive at Katara's Beach to a unique 'Qaffal' ceremony to the rhythm of national anthems and folk songs from the Qatari maritime heritage. On Tuesday, December 19, Katara visitors will enjoy a thrilling fireworks show. (TNN)
