Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al Thani meets with Palestine’s
President Mahmoud Abbas, in Doha on Saturday. They discussed bilateral relations and ways of boosting them, besides
developments in Jerusalem and a number of other issues of common concern. The Deputy Prime Minister reiterated
Qatar’s firm stance in supporting the Palestinian cause, and the steadfastness of the brotherly Palestinian people, based on
the resolutions of international legitimacy and the two-state solution agreed upon by the international community to
ensure the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital. (QNA)
