Bayt.com, an acclaimed career site has announced that its career mobile application has recently surpassed 1.5 million downloads, crossing a new milestone.
The app, which is easy to use, allows professionals to search and apply for their ideal jobs on the go as well as learn vital information about their career and job applications.
The application also notifies users when their applications have been viewed or when a job they might be interested in opens up.
"We can say with confidence now that the future has arrived. Close to 60 percent of job seekers in the Middle East prefer to search and apply for jobs on Bayt.com using their mobile phones," said Omar Tahboub, vice-president of Product at Bayt.com.
He added,"Today, we are announcing that over 1.5 million users have Bayt.com in their pockets. Job seekers in the Middle East have by now fully caught up with their counterparts internationally and adopted mobile as the medium of choice to land their dream job."
Bayt.com's mobile app provides professionals in the Middle East with the tools they need to create their professional profiles, apply for any of thousands of job postings on Bayt.com and stay informed of their application status via mobile notifications.
Users can connect through their Facebook or Google account and sync their information for their personal profile and upload their CV.
Through these simple, yet advanced features, professionals can apply for jobs, access saved searches and get information on who views their CV. This innovative platform recommends jobs that fit users' profiles and notifies them if a suitable position opens up.
