THE Ministry of Education and Higher Education's pavilion at Darb Al Saai in Doha is offering visitors a series of educational and artistic activities reflecting the ministry's role in achieving the Qatar National Vision 2030.
A host of ministry's departments are taking part in the event.
The department of early education introduces parents to the 'Maharati' project addressing the early learning stages, while the department of special education and supporting talented students showcases the services offered at the department's sections including an exhibition of technological learning tools.
Additionally, the department of documentation exhibits photographs illustrating the development of education in Qatar. On the other hand, the department of arts and theatre supervises the participation of a number of schools in offering daily art workshops to the visitors.
Moreover, Othman Bin Affan School is participating with a digital storytelling corner as well as the 'loyalty tree' that consists of papers with words of patriotism attached to it.
The ministry's pavilion features educational activities such as smart games and puzzles for children and adults, the Qatar National Vision 2030 robot by Hajer Primary School for Girls, and a construction game consisting of Qatar's map that introduces players to various parts of the country and their historical significance.
The ministry is also offering activities at Darb Al Saai theatre ranging from patriotic signing performances to poetry recitation and short plays. The ministry has reported that around 50 public and private schools are participating in this year's National Day celebrations at the schools' tent featuring various student activities.
