THE Ministry of Education and Higher Education has planned an array of artistic activities to be presented by schools during Qatar National Day celebrations at Darb Al Saai from December 9 to 20.
The Ministry's Department of Arts and Theatre will present art workshops at the Ministry's Tent in Pavilion 5 of Darb Al Saai while art works created by school students will be put on display along with the founder's slogan and Tamim Al Majd logo. The Early Learning Department will distribute printed leaflets to students and parents.
Schools are also preparing to present innovative activities during the celebrations such as launching intelligent games and puzzles, including a map puzzle of the State of Qatar that aims at introducing visitors to some of Qatar's cities and life aspects.
The events also include storytelling through a digital touchscreen, the tree of allegiance on which statements about Qatar National Vision 2030 are written, statements of patriotism, theatre activities that include national operetta, popular dance performances, and national chants and poems in love of Qatar.
The Documentation Department at the Ministry is set to display on screens pictures tracing evaluation of education system in Qatar.
The ministry's activities will be held from Saturday to Thursday in two shifts from 8am to 12pm and from 4pm to 10pm. On Friday, the activities will start at 3 pm and run until 11 pm.
