MEC issues 214 sale and 470 promotional licences in November

Doha: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce issued 241 sale licences, 301 Al Sharq Festival licences and 470 promotional offer licences in November, it said in a statement on Thursday. The promotional licences issued last month include those under the categories of scratch-and-win and raffle draws. Of all the promotional licences issued, 76 were granted for goods at shopping centres and stores and 381 for special offers, including new prices, buy-one-get-one- free, buy-one-get-one-at-half-price.
